Gecko Galz Beautiful Colors Papers

Hi All, sorry I have been MIA again, I had a little knee surgery and I have been trying the new Feedly, not a good combination, they both have made it a little harder to get around ha ha!!  The experts say Feedly should be the closest to Google's Reader (which we will all lose in July), but I find it does operate quite a bit differently.  I am still trying to find my way around in it.  Unlike Reader when you have read something it does not always disappear, sometimes it stays there a few days and if you have any sort of memory problems it may take you a bit to realize you read that already, ha ha!   It does import from Reader very easily!  But I still have problems remembering where to click on to go to the blog to comment, sometimes it takes me 3 clicks.  I think I may try Bloglovin, quite a few bloggers have suggested that.  I would love to know what you are trying too.
Well, I wanted to share these cards I made with Gecko Galz Beautiful Colors Paper Collection 2011, the cards aren't too detailed but I think the paper is so gorgeous it sorta speaks for itself!  You all know how much I love papers (especially these)!  I did fussy cut 3 of the flowers and mounted them on top with some dimensional foam.  My son did the photography for me.
I also wanted to share my win on Pinterest, Gecko Galz has a Pin it to Win it contest monthly, I won a gorgeous set of digital stamps called Rose Garden for the month of March.  The April contest is for another beautiful set called "Belissima", a really beautiful set too!  I am going to make it easy for you, I am including the link to my Pinterest Pin so you can Repin it, really it doesn't get any easier than this!
I may be MIA a few weeks longer so please forgive me if I don't catch up on the blog posts I have missed, I just purchased a KNK Zing with the MTC software and I am very excited to learn how to use it!  I will be sharing more on that in the future.
Well that's it, thanks for looking.  ~Diane

  6. Oh forgot to say I have both bloglovin and networked blogs on my blog and I use both to follow people. I was never much on google reader so doesn't bother me that it's going away. I like both of these options but bloglovin doesn't let you see who's signed on.

  12. Hi Diane, this is such a lovely card and matching envelope just makes me giddy with excitement looking at it! Love the colors. I hope your knee gets better. My cousin and brother both have had those surgeries and from them, it doesn't seem a quick healing process, so take care! ;-)

  24. Diane I only noticed now that you had a knee op. Hope the recovery is not too painful and may you be back to your old self soon. I have always used blogger's dashboard to follow my bloggy friends so I am not changing over to anything as yet, I might regret it later lol.

  26. Hi

I've switched to blog lovin and really like it. Like Feedly it's easy to import the list of blog into. I think that it's very user friendly.

Love the card - very Asian vibe!

WOW, knee surgery & a new KNK -- YAY for you -- now you can 'sit' and learn to use that sweet new machine!
My hubby's had several knee surgeries including both full replacements, so I know it's NOT fun, but hope you heal quickly and do ALL the required PT, as it's most important on a knee!
Been terribly busy, but thinking of you -- TTYL!!!
