Hi all, I finally got around to making a card and catching up on your blogs too. I used an image from Gecko Gals new set called Artful Visions, the paper is from the Arabian Dreams collection, I love the bold colors in these papers! I used my Perfect Layers Rulers to get the precise layers on my card, see my sidebar for a coupon or click on my link above. The little fishes are from a scrapbook page border I picked up at Dollar Treasure, the border is not that cute but the fish are adorable! The trim is from JoAnns, and the gold glitter ribbon was a score at Meijer's for .17 cents a roll!
I have switched from Feedly to Bloglovin, I do like it a lot better. Thank you for all your comments, they helped me in deciding. One thing I want to share with those of you who also use Pinterest, you will notice you may have a problem Pinning pages from Bloglovin because their address(Bloglovin) is part of the blog you are visiting address. There is an easy fix to that, go to your Bloglovin page, in the upper right hand corner you will see your name, click on it and you will see Settings. Go to the bottom of the Settings page and you will see Other, if you click on the box that says "I don't want the frame" then at the bottom click on "Save Settings". Now when you go to a blog from Bloglovin it will be easy to Pin, because you will have the address of the actual blog post to refer back to. That is if when you are in Bloglovin you click on the title of the post, if you click on the title of the blog it will take you to the blog. Not everyone knows this, but if you Pin from the "blog" and not the "blog post" when other Pinners come to your Pin they will not be able to find it as it will have been replaced by the bloggers most current post and that may have been a year ago. I try to make sure when I Pin that I am Pinning from the actual Post and not from the blog. Sorry I got so wordy here today. I hope you all are getting some dry and warm weather. Thanks for hanging in here with me, my knee is getting better every day.
Thanks for looking. ~Diane
