Start Your Engines!

Hi All, this was a really fun set to work with, Start Your Engines by Gecko Galz.  I usually have a tough time with guy cards but these came together really easily.  The envie liner in the first 2 cards is just the racing trim enlarged in Word.  The gorgeous paper in 3 and 4 are from Bold Black and White from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff .  The 5th card used paper from Gecko Galz Chocolate Box set.  As you can see I used my Perfect Layers Square and Rulers to get the precise layers on all my cards, see my sidebar for a coupon or click on my link above.  You can see I made a mistake when I made my frames, I should have framed the images in black then red then black, I did not like the look without that extra layer of black so I added a very carefully placed trim of black Stickles on the first 4 images since I use Art Glitter Glue to hold it all in place and there is no going back from there!
See the little tags?  My DH advised me that the envie liners were "dumb" because once the envelope gets sealed no one knows it's there.  He assumes everyone tears it open like a savage, ha ha.  He did have a good idea though so these are my first (successful) attempts at envelope sealers.  I tried making round ones but I can't seem to figure out how to down size the image without losing all the definition.  I ran the first 4 scraps through my Zyron (it really does make stickers) and the last one was printed onto an address label.
Well that's it, thanks as always for looking.  ~Diane
