I made this 5 x 7 sweet summery card with one of my favorites, Kahwinkedink's Slice of Summer digi stamp. For those for you who have not stopped by the store, this image is only $1.00. You can't go wrong with that, even if you only make 1 card with it! Along with the Slice of Summer digi I used Stampin Up Green Galore and Pixie Pink cs to paper piece this together. I also used Stampin Up Crystal Effects on the seeds and Texture Plates Kit 4 Distressed and Backgrounds #1 Eyelet. Added some glitter and glued it onto a folded card I was done. Be sure to stop by the Kahwinkedink challenge today to pick up your free image, see what my talented design sisters have made and join us in this weeks challenge. Thanks for looking. ~Diane

Adding that texture is so creative! Too cute :)
ReplyDeleteOh Diane, this watermelon slice is just so cute! I love the way you made it "full size", I have an image I was thinking about doing that with just last night, you've inspired me to go ahead and try it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking into my blog so often too, you asked about my home made light box and if I shined light through all the tissue paper panels. Just the top is all. I found the tutorial on how to make it on the Catch the Bug challenge blog last month (I think). It's made from an empty box that the packages of eggs come in the dairy section of the grocery store.
this one will surely cool you off in these summer temps, great card. Hugs
ReplyDeleteOh, thank your for letting me know I won at Kah-wink-e-dink too!
