Sweetly Singing

Hi All, this is another piece I made for the Gecko Galz DT using a combination of  Gecko Galz Floral Symphony paper and Vintage by Me  for the bird image.
For this 5 x 7 card I printed the Floral Symphony paper and Vintage by me image (twice) on to Staples matte photo paper.  I fussy cut the daisy's and mounted them with a foam dot, added some lace.  I distressed the image by tearing all 4 edges and a center split, I then rolled the center split, added a piece of the image back in, I then used Ranger distress ink on all the torn edges.  I added glue and Flower Soft flowers to the tear in the image and some straw and baby's breath above the daisy's.  I printed the envelope liner in the matching Floral Symphony paper on regular copy paper and glued it inside.
I am entering this into the challenge at Craft Hoarders Anonymous using the new items of the papers along with the lace, Flowersoft and baby's breath I have been hoarding for ages.

That's it, thanks for looking.  ~Diane

Gecko Galz meets Vintage by Me

Hi All, I am sharing a card I made for the Gecko Galz DT Vintage by Me cross promotion featuring Vintage by Me products along with Gecko Galz products.
For this 5 x 7 card I printed the Gecko Galz Floral Symphony paper and Vintage by Me bird image (twice) on to Staples matte photo paper.  I mounted the image on to a piece of black card stock and trimmed a 1/16" edge around it with my Perfect Layers Mini Tools.  I then mounted both pieces on to a die cut frame and a doily (that I sprayed with turquoise blue Glimmer Mist).  I fussy cut the little bird and mounted him with a piece of foam on to the image.   I added a spray of pale blue and white pearls and 3 large pearls. I added the thought bubble with the words sweet sweet cut and printed on my Zing.  I printed the envelope liner on copy paper using the same Floral Symphony paper.
That's it, thanks for stopping by.  ~Diane
