Zen Garden papers

Hi All, today I am sharing another card I made with Gecko Galz Beautiful Bookmarks and Gecko Galz Zen Garden Papers, love the beautiful deep colors in these papers!   I used my Perfect Layers Rulers to get the precise layers on my card, see my sidebar for a coupon or click on my link above.  See how just that little bit of black card stock makes the image really pop?  Don't forget Gecko Galz has the buy 1 get one sale for the month of May, great time to stock up on some beautiful paper and collage sets.  Not sure if you can see it, I added one of the tiniest flower gems to the flower in her hair, looks great IRL.  I layered 2 ribbons together, you can see just a hint of gold peeking through.  I use the Xyron 1.5 Create a Sticker to attach most of my ribbons, it does a perfect job of it without staining them.  I don't know why they marketed it and called it "create a sticker" I rarely use it for stickers, they should have called it the "attach a ribbon" machine, in my humble opinion.
Well, that's it, hope you all are warming up a bit by now.  Thanks for looking.  ~Diane
I am entering this into the Sugar Creek Hollow challenge Clean it out, everything used here has been in my stash for quite some time.  The ribbons have to be 2 years old at least and the gems are at least 2 years old also.  The paper is about a year old and the bookmark is the newest at about 6 months old, I printed them out when I bought them and then did not use them.  Great idea to use what we have!

  4. Hi Diane,
I love the cheerful yellow you gave this card and all the details.
Your signature lined envelope gives it the perfect finishing touch. I also have items in my stash for years before I finally find a use for them. I guess we all do this. It's just the process of creating!
Best wishes in the challenge. I vote for your card!!!!
    Have a great evening.
    Hugs, Celestina Marie
