Blue eyed camels

Hi, my friend Meg asked for a card with camels and palm trees, and who knew, Lindsay had just the right set!  I made this card with Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Arabian Nights Party kit, I cut the SVG with the landscaped hills, trees and camels.  I covered the trees with some tree bark on a roll I found on clearance a long time ago, first time I used it, but for 50 cents I knew I would get to it eventually, ha ha.  The Sun and grass are SVG cuts from Birds Cards, I had some real grass scrapbook paper that I cut the grass SVG from.  Sorry, the cloud was already cut out and in my stash, I don't remember who it came from.  The only envelopes I had in my stash for this size card were silver or red, so I used the silver and added some cloud background paper to the liner and used a little Tim Holts distress ink to add a few more clouds to the envelope too.  I think the pretty blue eyes I placed on the camels really set it off!  I used 2mm clear rhinestones from Pizzazz Aplenty and I colored them the perfect shade of sky blue!  If anyone sees any palm tree with camel challenges for me to enter this into let me know!
Thanks for looking.  ~Diane

  11. Hi Diane,
Oh wow is this ever a darling card. You are just amazing and your creative juices are working in high gear.
I love all the wonderful details.

Thank you for the well wishes. I am doing a bit better from the flu but now have a touch of pleurisy. No fun and have to rest a bit which is very hard for me to do.

    Have a great week.
