Chocolate cake and the color pink.

These are my 2 favorites, cold chocolate and the color pink.   I made this Birthday card using the Wedding Cake image from Kahwinkedink.  The fab dp is Hambly Screen Prints  Sweet Cupcakes it's 2 pages, the clear overlay has the white frosting print and the pink layer underneath is printed in a darker pink, this was a RAK from my sweet friend Kristen.  I cut the image out then paper pieced the frosting on top with foam dots for dimension, I also colored the white frosting with a Souffle pen.  The sentiment is Stampin up Warmest Regards, the dark cs is The Paper Company Pomegranate, the crocheted flower is Maya Rd Shimmer Blossoms and I used Spellbinders Deckled Mega Rectangles Nestabilities.  Be sure to stop by Kahwinkedink today to see what my fabulous design team sisters have made and to pick up your free digi image.
Thanks for looking.  ~Diane

  2. Mmmm...what a yummy card, complete with the sweets we all love - chocolate! The background paper is really cool - looked embossed! I was like, now where'd she get that folder?! HAHA I love the polka dot ribbon and the crochet blossom works so well - very pretty with the pearls inside. Lovely card, girl!

  5. Oh, I thought that was an embossed background. The overlay looks sooooo good! We really need somebody to make an embossing folder with yummy cupcakes like the ones on this paper. Your card is delicious!
