Play Date Cafe Challenge # 3

I love the colors chosen for this weeks challenge at Play Date Cafe!  I used the Stampin up Real Red, which is one of my favorites, along with a white and black.  I embossed the red cs with a Sizzix embossing plate, I cut the layered panels with Spellbinders Deckled Mega Rectangles Nestabilities.  I heat embossed the Stampin up Kanji and Oriental Paintings using Versamark and black opaque embossing powder.  I used a Stampin Up punch for the Kanji squares and trimmed the red and black squares to a slightly larger size.  This is a fun challenge site, so stop by and check it out!

  10. Very pretty card. Red, white and black have got to be some of my all time favorite, classic colors. I'm trying to figure out my blog feed...when I clicked on papercraft pleasures at the bottom, it did take me to my blog but I can't figure out why there's no snipet of info...hmmmm?
Thanks for letting me know, I'll keep working on it!

  11. Very Pretty! I love the Asian colors and their letters are so neat to look at.
We finally got that puppy, so I have been a bad visiter... I really like your acetate cards! I should try something with that! I had a roll of acetate from when I worked in printing, and I threw it out! How dumb was that??? I could have made 100 cards with the roll I had. UGG!
    See you soon!
